Who it is for: Pupils interested in the performing and production arts.
When: Throughout the year, outwith school hours
Where: The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Performance Venues
Sometimes when you go for interviews or auditions for performance or production courses, you will be asked to critically analyse a piece of music, theatre or film.
Our theatre, music and film trips are an opportunity to see things you might not normally get to see, and practice critically analysing a piece of art with a tutor and a supportive, encouraging peer group.
Each trip will take place outwith school hours, and the performance or film will be followed by a discussion group.
The trips are an opportunity to:
- Widen your understanding of current performance work
- Develop your ability to critically analyse theatre, music and film
- Meet new friends who are also pursuing a career in the creative industries
Check our news blog for news on when these will take place and information on how to apply.
