Roving Reporters at Performance Trips

 ROVING REPORTERS OUT AND ABOUT

Coming live from Transitions Performance Trips

Three of our Fair Access Ambassadors became Roving Reporters at Transitions performance trips recently. They captured some great opinions and reactions from some of the students attending the trips.

At the National Theatre of Scotland’s ‘Kidnapped’ and Scottish Ballet’s ‘Streetcar Named Desire’, Jade, Sam and Jessica got the scoop on what people thought of the shows. They asked what star ratings students would give each show and asked why they felt it was important for students studying the performing and production arts to attend as many shows as possible.

People had different views on the performances but everyone agreed that getting to see such a range of high-quality performances for free, and in the company of other young creative people was a chance not to be missed!

‘We’re all from different artforms but on this night we all share one thing in common; we’re going to see this show together and can talk to each other about it!’

Hosting performance trips for students is just one of the ways in which both Transitions and WACI can help students.
