Digital Resources and Summer School for Media Teachers

We are excited to announce that The Fair Access Department at RCS is working in collaboration with Gmac Film to develop a series of digital resources on practical filmmaking skills with National 5 and Higher pupils.  We are also organising a practical filmmaking Summer School for Media Teachers.

This pilot project aims to upskill Media Teachers and their pupils with practical filmmaking techniques as well as delivering a broader awareness of the film sector in Scotland.

Fair Access at the RCS and Gmac Film are specifically aiming to engage with schools that teach pupils:

• from SiMD-1 postcodes
• care experienced and estranged young people
• rurally excluded
• people from Global Majority communities
