Workshop 5: 18 June 2024, Building Singing for Health Training & Peer Support

We have been awarded funding from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Innovation Studio to hold two workshops to develop bespoke singing for health training. Our aim is to use these workshops to develop training specifically for Singing for Health leaders in Scotland.

In this second workshop, we we will build on discussions and insights from the workshop that took place on 19 April, with Brianna and Sophie presenting several options for singing for health training. Those attending will be able to offer their feedback on these plans during the workshop. We will also consider peer-to-peer support and mentorship for singing for health leaders.

We will be joined by Jo Miller,  coordinator of the Trad Arts Mentoring programme for Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland and a professional mentor with Scottish Mentoring Network, and Anne Gallacher, Director of Luminate – Scotland’s Creative Ageing charity, who will discuss the recent evaluation of Luminate’s peer support pilot.

Registration: 1230pm, 18 June 2024
