Scotland’s Singing for Health Network collaborated with Dr Panna Muqit and the University of St Andrews Medical School to deliver a workshop to medical students. We invited three fantastic singing for health practitioners, Rachel Hynes, Debra Salem, and Caro Overy. They shared their experience, and the type of exercises and songs they would typically use in Singing for Lung Health, Singing for Parkinson’s and Dementia Inclusive Singing sessions. Sophie Boyd shared her research on the benefits of Singing for Lung Health, and Brianna Robertson-Kirkland provided an overview of what Scotland’s Singing for Health Network aims to achieve.
