Flints Hire and Supply

Flints are basically your one stop shop for all things theatrical. Established in 1981 to provide the theatre industry with a single source for specialist theatre hardware and paints. Flints cater for Stage Managers, Production Managers, Workshop Managers, Scenic Artists, Engineers, Carpenters, Painters and Propmakers.
Their catalogue can be found online here, although its worth getting a hard copy. Familiarise yourself with the materials in here. The prices here will be relevant until the end of 2017 but it’s always worth checking online prices before quoting jobs. Delivery prices can be found here.
Good for:
  • All kinds of paints, primer, glazes, shellacs etc
  • Brushes and scenic artist equipment

Bad For:
  • Prices can be a little steeper than if you were to shop around
  • 24hr delivery doesn’t always mean 24hr delivery… especially to Scotland
