    Hiya Holly,
It was so nice to watch this video blog and actually has inspired me to do my own! Thanks for letting me watch this as it was super interesting to hear your take on the history of different countries and the complexity that comes with that!

I also loved Prisons on Channel 4 because there was no presenter and I couldn’t help but compare it to Ross Kempt after reading your other blog post. Makes me think about how our creative resource can allow for agency from the inmates too! The term “Civil Dead” is so horrible! I thought you would be interested to read this article about voting rights in Australia which is called Ghosts of the Civil Dead: Prisoner Disenfranchisement.

Again, thanks for teaching me some history about prison around the world! Can’t wait to read another blog soon!

Thank you Indra! That article is super interesting!

Video blogging has proven to be more accessible to me so I can’t wait to see your video blog! I couldn’t believe it when I read the term Civially dead! Such a degrading term for human beings!
