Masterclass: Production for TV and Film, 14 April at 2pm

The session will cover a broad overview of the different departments on a film set and look at the various roles and responsibilities of each crew member, and a typical workday on a film set. The session will also cover how to get your start in the Film and Television industry and the resources that are there to support you in that transition. 

 About Carol 

Carol Brown is a two-time BAFTA LA Scholar recipient with an M.F.A from the Peter Stark Producing Program in Los Angeles. Carol recently returned to Scotland and has been working as Producers Assistant on three Netflix feature films. Prior to her two years in LA, Carol worked in the Casting Department for ITV Drama in Manchester after working her way across Scottish drama and commercial shoots as a production assistant. 

Carol returned to Scotland with the view to produce exciting projects with up-and-coming Scottish talent. She has produced several short films that have been selected for international festivals, as well as picking up RTS Student and BAFTA New Talent awards. Carol is currently the Development Manager at GMAC Film, in Glasgow as well as a lecturer in production at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
