Short Course: Let's Make Music

 COME & TRY ONLINE FESTIVAL 

Let’s Make Music, 6 – 15 April

Flautist, singer and keyboard player Sarah Hayes leads this short course exploring songwriting and making music.

You will learn about:

– generating ideas for words and music
– ways into collaboration and co-writing
– using software to create and record your own tracks

Sarah will also be offering one-to-one support and feedback on your own creations! 

 Dates and Times 

All sessions will take place on Zoom at 10am until 12 noon on the following dates:

 About Your Tutor 

Sarah Hayes is a singer, flautist and keyboard player from Northumberland. Based in Glasgow since 2005, she leads a busy and varied musical life performing, writing and recording with Admiral Fallow, You Tell Me, Andrew Wasylyk and more. Sarah released her debut album Woven – a studio reimagining of her Celtic Connections New Voices commission – in 2015. She is a member of the songwriting collective Hen Hoose and one of three composers working with chamber ensemble Senary in 2022. Sarah has tutored for Articulate Cultural Trust, Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin, Scottish Music Centre, National Youth Folk Ensemble and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
