WACI are delighted to be offering a suite of Audition and Interview Prep sessions. These sessions will help you prepare for your interviews and auditions, help build confidence and offer tips and advice specific to your discipline.

These workshops are for those who are thinking about applying to study at a college, university or conservatoire in one of the following areas:


Acting or Musical Theatre
(Monologue Prep, 1:1 Sessions)
When: Dates between 29 October – 14 November
Times: 6pm or 7:15pm
Where: Online

Deadline to apply: Tuesday 22 October

Music Teaching
(BEd, Bachelor of Education in Music)
When: 5 & 7 November, 6:30pm – 8pm
Where: Online

Deadline to apply: 4 November

Filmmaking & TV
When: 12 & 14 November, 5pm – 7pm
Where: Online

Deadline to apply: 11 November

Production Arts or Technology
When: 19 & 21 November, 5pm – 7pm

For those thinking about applying to study music

If you are in the process, or thinking, of applying to study music at a college, university or conservatoire, these sessions are for you! Our one-to-one music advice sessions with Roo Geddes are a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the audition experience
  • Receive tips on how to improve your audition
  • Build your confidence in auditioning

We have a range of one-hour slots available to choose from.

WACI are pleased to announce our new round of one-to-one sessions for music audition preparation. If you are in the process, or thinking, of applying to study music at a college, university or conservatoire, these sessions are for you!

Our one-to-one music advice sessions are a great opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the audition experience
  • Receive tips on how to improve your audition

Have you applied or are you thinking about applying to study drama at a college, university or conservatoire?

Join us at RCS for our workshops in helping you prepare for your audition.

The workshops will be the perfect opportunity for you to:

  • help select your monologues
  • prepare for the audition scenario
  • receive performance feedback

Taking place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 – 8pm on the following dates in September and October:

Note: Fair Access is funded to support young people who face the greatest barriers in accessing the arts. Teachers are welcome to book up to four of your directing students onto this session who meet the following criteria:

  • living in a SIMD20 postcode and/or
  • care experienced or estranged and/or
  • identifying as Black, Indigenous or a Person of Colour (living at a SIMD20 or 40 postcode).

Sign up and join us in person at RCS for our workshops to help you prepare for your audition/interview!

Taking place from 6pm-8pm on Monday 7 & 14 November, the two workshops will be a great opportunity for you to: 

  • Prepare for the Audition/Interview Scenario
  • Receive Feedback and Top Tips
  • Ask questions about the Audition/Interview Process

Remember, it can be any music education course that you are applying for at any institution to attend this workshop. You just need to be eligible to attend by being a WACI or Transitions student.
