Students' Union

The Students’ Union is here to represent you and to help you need it.

The SU is made up of an Executive Committee (President, Vice President of Music and Vice President of Dance, Drama, Production and Filmmaking), student experience representatives and liberations and sections officers (LGBTQIA+, Women, Disability, Cultural Diversity, Mental Health, International, Mature and Sports).

As well as putting on events throughout the year (the highlight being the Summer Ball), we also run sports clubs all year round such as yoga, pilates and football.

We represent you at several boards and committees so that the student voice is always present in any decision made by the Conservatoire, and have our own monthly meetings where issues are discussed. We are also affiliated with the National Union of Students Scotland, which works to protect your education and to fight for your rights as a student.

If you have any problems with your course, your wellbeing, accommodation, finances, or have general complaints, you can come and talk to us. On a more positive note, if you want to set up a society or put on an event, you can do so through the SU, and we can help you every step of the way.

If you need to contact the SU at any time, (even before you arrive!) you can contact us by emailing: supresident@rcs.ac.uk.
