International Students

These international student pages not for students who are British or Irish.  Although the UK has now left the European Union, Irish citizens’ rights to live in the UK remain.  They can continue living their lives in the UK as they did before Brexit.  If you are a British or Irish citizen you have the right to access health care in either state. When visiting you also have the right to access needs-arising health care during your stay.

There are lots of things to think about if you’re coming to the Conservatoire from outside the UK or Ireland.  One of the most common areas of concern relates to immigration and whether a visa is required, and if it is, how and when to apply for one.  Healthcare and insurance are also of huge importance as are arrangements for arrival.  All these areas will be covered in the pages under International Students.
