Welcome to the Conservatoire
The purpose of this page, is to present help, advice and links that will get you started connecting with your RCS email, your timetable (schedule) on ASIMUT and other online systems you will use as a student at the Conservatoire; such as the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Moodle and the student Portal.
You can start to work through this guidance once you have received your RCS username and password, and changed your password to one of your own choice.
Please read this page in full before clicking on any of the links.
Firstly, it is important that you self-enrol on the Moodle module Student Digital Induction Launch Pad 2023-24 (see the link below). This will take you step-by-step through connecting to each of the systems that you will use as a student at the Conservatoire and explain what they are. When you have completed this checklist, you will know that you have access to the digital resources and are ready to use them as part of your studies.
Please return to this page and checkout the other help available once you have completed your checklist, if you still have questions or require assistance.
When you click the link below for the first time, you may be asked to Log in – to do this click on the ‘Log in’ link on the top right corner of the screen that opens, if you are asked for your login details type your username@rcs.ac.uk, that was emailed to you, and the password you have chosen for yourself – and then click ‘Continue’ to enrol yourself on the module. After you have done that, the module will be available from your list of My Modules, which you will see at the bottom of the Moodle homepage, once you have been logged in.
