Samaritans
The Samaritans are well-known as a non-religious, non-judgmental, confidential listening organisation in the UK. Their overall aim is to prevent suicide. Visit: Samaritans in Scotland.

Living Life – NHS 24
Living Life is a free phone service offering CBT based therapy for anyone in Scotland aged 16 and over with low mood, mild to moderate depression, anxiety or a combination of these symptoms. To find more details look here: Living Life

Music Support
A registered UK charity run by volunteers who have worked in the music industry and been personally impacted by these mental health and addiction issues. Music Support is for anyone in the industry experiencing mental health issues or alcohol/drug addiction: performers, managers, backstage crew, and more.

Beat: Support for eating disorders
Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. The website has a wealth of information for students experiencing an eating disorder and support for anyone who is worried about a friend, colleague or family member.

Support for individuals who have been raped or sexually assaulted
Rape Crisis Scotland offers help and support to individuals of all genders living in Scotland aged 13+ who have been affected by sexual violence (who are survivors of rape or sexual assault). It doesn’t matter what happened or how long ago, and you don’t have to talk about anything you don’t want to. We support survivors, as well as family, friends and supporters.
